Photo Rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation treatments using Intense Pulsed Light to remove skin discoloration and broken capillaries, is fast, easy and a painless non-surgical treatment that can address common skin concerns like redness, pigmentation, sun damage and more.

The result? Clearer, healthier skin.

How does Photo Rejuvenation or IPL work?

A Photo Rejuvenation IPL skin session uses advanced technology called “selective photothermolysis” to gently target and treat damaged, pigmented skin cells. Different wavelengths are used to target different pigmentation, making it an equally effective for hemoglobin-caused redness or melanin-induced sun damage.

This versatile treatment can be used on the face, neck, décolletage and hands.

What are the results?

Photo Rejuvenation is a cosmetic treatment that targets unwanted skin concerns such as:

  • Age Spots
  • Broken capillaries
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Pigmentation
  • Rosacea
  • Sun damage
  • Vascular lesions
  • Uneven skin tone

Pigmented cells absorb the light as heat, destroying the damaged skin and undergo a mild abrasion, slough off within days. While vascular lesions blanch and then resolve themselves within 10 to 14 days. These controlled wounds prompt the skin’s natural healing process. This creates new cells for a fresh, visibly improved appearance.

What does a session involve?

During your treatment, our skin professional will pulse the IPL Photo Rejuvenation hand piece over your area of concern. You will notice a mild sensation along with a flashing light with each pulse.

Unlike a laser, IPL systems have a larger treatment window for quicker coverage and shorter sessions.
